Breast cancer can never be fashionable, but fighting it will always be!

ShopStyle x CFDA “Fashion Targets Breast Cancer” Promotion

This year ShopStyle Collective has partnered with CFDA Foundation, Inc., to support the campaign “Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.”, through a promotion: ShopStyle X CFDA “Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.”

ShopStyle invited all its affiliate bloggers to have an active voice in this effort, from October 17 until October 23rd. During this week, participating bloggers will donate 10% or more of their earnings. Affiliate bloggers earn commissions from those sales made from their blogs links to ShopStyle retailers. ShopStyle will be donating $5,000, but if the aggregate donations from participating bloggers exceed that number, ShopStyle will match it on a $1 by $1 basis.

As an affiliate blogger, I decided to take this opportunity to participate and inspire you to collaborate.

How can you too be part of this initiative?

I’ve selected some of my favorite clothing pieces and accessories, from CFDA designers,  to share with you. I chose what I like most in pink, not only because it is the official color for breast cancer, but because it is BIG this fall season. I thus invite you all to help me in raising the most for this initiative. You can buy those clothing pieces, shoes, bags, or accessories, by clicking on the links below. Would you help me?
I would love you to do so!

Fighting Breast Cancer is Special for me…

I had the great privilege to support the creation of a SenosAyuda, a Breast Cancer Survivor Foundation in my home country, Venezuela, back in 2002. Three extraordinary women with breast cancer, Bolivia, Beatriz and Ingrid, decided to create SenosAyuda, non-profit organization aim to fight breast cancer. Bolivia, Ingrid, and Beatriz started their journey inspiring and motivating many others to join their cause. Beatriz is no longer with us, but she fought until the end.

Bolivia assumed with great passion her role as a leader and had been the lifeblood of the Foundation since 2002. She’s currently rallying across Venezuela raising awareness and funds to support the organization’s programs that benefit thousands of women in our country.

Breast Cancer is not a disease we can prevent, but it can be detected in early stages and cured. Breast Cancer awareness and education are essential to act on early stages, fight it and win the battle against it.
We are all at risk, and that’s why we all should have our BC screenings each year.

Have you done so already?
